Message Just got back from hanging out with friends at my aunt's farmhouse in tiny Conconully, in eastern washington. I spent a good amount of time drinking on my front porch for the last, which gave me a lot of time to stare at the beautiful profile of my Z, parked in front of the house.

As my eyes traced over the lines again and again, it occured to me that the line between the hatch and the rear window curves down such that it would hit the exact middle of the rear wheel well.
(here's the sig pic for reference)

I think the Z has pretty much the most classic, beautiful lines of most any modern vehicle, but this seems a bit un-flowing for me. What if that line between the rear hatch and the quarter window curved such that it would swoop around the back of the rear wheel well?

Has anyone ever done anything like this? I like it. The expensive way would be to cut back the metal and have a custom piece of glass put in (yah right). The cheap way might be to dremel an channel for mouldings, and paint the part of the body next to the window black, as is done sometimes with the white on the top of the car inbetween t-tops and hatch.

What do you guys think about this?

Also, an update on my other half-baked body idea: I am going to go ahead and stick LEDs inside my headlights and maybe in my mirrors to make my TwinZ fascia states-legal. Stay posted for that one.

Hey you! Nice car.
